'Experiment with hairstyles'

Fashion to me is: Not being a trend follower but a trendsetter. When you walk into a room, people should look at you for your intrinsic style. Confidence will make any outfit look ultra fashionable! I believe in making an outfit work, rather than the other way around.

My sense of style is: Simple but edgy, contemporary with minimal accessories. Never too feminine, more androgynous maybe.

I feel sexy when: I am fresh out of the gym with flushed cheeks, damp hair and renewed energy.

3 things I never leave home without: My phone, wallet and mint.

A priceless possession I'll never want to give away: My first car.

My ideal outfit for

A fun party: A short, casual dress

A formal work setting: A pair of high-waisted black pants with a crisp shirt tucked in. Maybe a blazer, according to the weather

A casual day out with friends: Jeans and a girly top

A hot date: An off-shoulder red dress.

My shopping strategy: Always pick something that your wardrobe doesn't have.

My favourite style trick: Try different hairstyles; they make a lot of difference to your look.

A beauty trend I love: Smokey eye make-up; it always looks striking.

A fashion trend I cannot stand: Lowwaist jeans.

My brand fixation: I'm not very brand conscious. My own wardrobe has everything from Sarojini Nagar Market in Delhi and Mumbai's Fashion Street to D&G and Versace.

Essential pairs of shoes every woman must possess: Black and nude pumps, brown strappy flats, black flat ballerinas and ankle length boots.

My fashion icon: Deepika Padukone; not because of what she wears, but how she carries it.

A perfume I swear by: Body by Burberry.

A colour that dominates my wardrobe: White.

My ultimate fashion destination: Paris, as it's home to luxury and world's top designers especially Chanel, YSL and Christian Louboutin.

The most stylish person in showbiz: Arjun Rampal.

If I had to spend my entire life wearing just one kind of outfit, it would be: Shorts and ganji.

On fashion blunders: I wasn't aware that removal of a price tag from underneath the shoes was pertinent. Once a stylist told me that I've been committing a blunder by not doing that.
